Miniature Monday #47: MiWorld Toys - Sprinkles Cupcakes

Never heard of Sprinkles Cupcakes until I saw this toy.  I admit to liking the more vibrant colors of this setting better than the Dairy Queen MiWorld one.   Not to mention that it's a cupcake place...And I love cupcakes!

I especially like the see-thru "glass".  It seems so authentic with the clear Sprinkles sticker on it.  I can't say the same for the table though.  Even from the picture, you can see how it is not snuggly fitted to its base.  It will require some powerful gluing to straighten that sucker.

And again, the stickers on the small cups kept coming off.  This time, I didn't fix it to show what I meant from the DQ setting.  I wasn't impressed by the simplicity of the food miniatures.  They didn't seem too realistic.  But then when I googled Sprinkles, it was actually how their cupcakes looked.  How interesting.  I am so tempted to have one of these babies except there is no franchise in Toronto.

I had a few more photos of both the DQ and Sprinkles attached to each other but my camera is having problems so it will have to wait another day.

The Sprinkles version has a few more issues than I had hoped.  That table really annoyed me but it's nothing unfixable.  The overall prettiness of the setting is its saving grace.  I still think it's a fun toy.  Miniatures and attachable store settings are always fun.
